David McWilliams

David McWilliams (1945-2002) was a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He wrote and performed folk-tinged pop songs in the 1960s, with an introspective style that drew comparisons to artists like Donovan and Cat Stevens. His 1967 song 'Days of Pearly Spencer' is his most recognized work, and he built a loyal following across Europe, particularly in Germany, Italy, France, and the Netherlands.
