Jerry Lee Lewis

Jerry Lee Lewis (1935-2022) was a pianist, singer, and songwriter from Ferriday, Louisiana, widely regarded as one of the founding figures of rock and roll and rockabilly. He started recording at Sun Records in Memphis in the mid-1950s, scoring massive hits with his ferocious, flamboyant piano style. Later in his career he found a second audience as a country artist, and he recorded gospel material as well.
