Katie Pruitt

Katie Pruitt is a singer-songwriter from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. She writes folk and rock-inflected music that draws on personal themes including religion, identity, and mental health, with a vocal style that leans toward artists like Joni Mitchell and Bonnie Raitt. She studied at Belmont University in Nashville and won a BMI Songwriting Scholarship and a Buddy Holly Prize before releasing her debut record.
