Massive Attack

Massive Attack are a trip-hop collective from Bristol, England, formed in 1988 by Robert "3D" Del Naja, Grant "Daddy G" Marshall, Adrian "Tricky" Thaws, and Andrew "Mushroom" Vowles. They originated the genre's hypnotic sound, a darkly sensual and cinematic fusion of hip-hop rhythms, soulful melodies, dub grooves, and choice samples. Their work has influenced a wide range of artists and helped define the sound of British electronic music through the 1990s and beyond.
