Rik Emmett

Rik Emmett is a Canadian guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Mississauga, Ontario, who spent the 1970s and 1980s as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the hard rock trio Triumph. After leaving the band in 1988, he pursued a solo career spanning more than two dozen independent releases across rock, jazz, classical, blues, and acoustic styles. He has been inducted into the Canadian Rock Hall of Fame, the Junos Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Walk of Fame, among others.
